Great Music - Close To Home

The Rappahannock Choral Society, Inc., (RCS) is an audition-only regional chorus whose mission is to provide quality, enjoyable musical entertainment and education through concerts and selected singing opportunities.

Community

The RCS brings great music to the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Community. We have sung at Jubilation, PorchFest, Gari Melcher's Arts After Hours and the Fred Nats.

Scholarships

Each year, the RCS awards the Anne E. Parker Scholarship in the amount of $1000 to a graduating senior pursuing a post high school music education. The 2026 winner is December Weight. 

RCS 2026 Fall Season

The RCS is looking for singers for the 2026 Fall Season. Rehearsals begin in late August. All singers are welcome to audition and to audition the RCS.

Our 2026 Holiday Concert will be Sunday, December 6th at 3pm at Chancellor High School. Follow us here or on social media for more details.
